Superfoods: How to Grow & How to Cook Them In-Person
A nutritionist from the Onondaga County Office for Aging, alongside the Library Farm Manager, will present a session on how to grow and prepare nutrient-packed Superfoods. Participants will learn practical tips on cultivating healthy, high-quality ingredients in their own gardens, and how to incorporate them into delicious meals. The session will highlight three powerful superfoods—beets, spinach, and sweet peas—showing how these vibrant, vitamin-rich foods can be easily grown and used in everyday cooking to boost health and vitality.
